We made it a point to visit La Tolteca. We had not been there for 30 years! We still loved it! So happy they have grown into such a big venue. Spoke with Ben, an original family owner. Told him we were so happy to see the growth.
Pretty packed on a Sunday afternoon. Ordered a beef burrito. Fully loaded with beef, and tastes delicious. Further, the price is very reasonable. Semi self serve here. Will definitely come back again
Cool place to gather with family. The restaurant is big and was able to accommodate our large party of 20 people. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately my food was underwhelming. The chicken was bland and needed more salt, seasoning, and spices. I ordered the chicken tacos with rice and beans and all where lacking in flavor. One upside is that my wife's carnitas were good. Also the pricing is very good as the bill for my household (2 adults and 3 kids) was less than 60 dollars.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve been coming to La Toteca for over 20 years, and this place never fails! The food is always amazing — I highly recommend the flautas. Today was my first time trying the shrimp ceviche tostada, and it’s my new favorite! We also had a frozen strawberry margarita and a michelada — both drinks were fantastic. If you’re craving great Mexican food, this is the spot!
You must get taquitos and chips and salsa! Good prices and a wonderful, huge restaurant with nice booths and warm atmosphere, with a spot to order to go up front. It's always consistent dining in or taking out, and tons of staff available to help, and they're FAST! They sell gift cards as well. FYI - Closed Tuesdays
This is Azusa's hidden gem ! I've been eating here since 1963 ! The food is homemade as well as the salsa's ! They are the only restaurant that has Azusa grown Avocados 🥑 They also have the best chips made on the premise as well as their tortillas freshly made in their tortilla factory ! From Corn to Flour & Sopas ! Different sizes from large to the small 50¢ corn tortillas ! They have a Full bar & Happy Hour specials ! Beer on tap ! Micro brewed Beer ! Wine ! Different Margaritas ! TV Screens for the Sport Fans ! Enjoy your family meals here ! See you there 💖
Good food and service. Self serve drinks. They deliver food to your table. Chips, tortillas are very delicious. Loved the beans. Rice was a bit bland, but good enough for the kids. Lots of parking, but can become very busy at times. They also sale chips and salsa by the pound. Chips are not greasy and taste light and crunchy. I would recommend if your near. Asada had a flavor i was not used to but good.
